

My weekly local catch at the farmers market. Sea urchin AKA uni AKA butter of the sea is a delicacy in many parts of the world and an aphrodisiac in Japan. A hard spiky exterior masks the creamy delicious interior. Uni is packed full of zinc, omega-3 fats, protein and my personal favorite- anandamide- a fatty acid neurotransmitter that binds to the cannabinoid receptors in your brain for that euphoric glow.
