Posted at 00:52h, 25 JanuaryProbably not a good idea for those with severe adrenal fatigue would you say? Low cortisol so low blood sugar? I feel dead (and have the ultra low glucose readings to prove it) if I don’t have a little bit of carbs (berries beets) to give me some fuel. And does metabolic type play into who would or wouldn’t do well on a ketogenic diet? Do you do this all the time or just as needed like a cleanse? Sorry I’m full of questions always wanting to learn!

But before entering ketosis basic blood sugar and cortisol issues do need to be balanced and addresses. And 20 to up to 50 grams of carbs a day is okay, just depends on your metabolism. I personally cycle in and out of ketosis just as our hunter gathers ancestors did. Hope that helps 🙂
