Hey there and welcome! Lots of new faces of late so I want to take a minute to introduce myself...
.
I'm Dr. Titus Chiu. I’m a Functional Neurologist, bestselling author, and internationally recognized brain health and #postconcussionsyndrome expert. I live in Berkeley, California with my wife and healing partner @DrNatashaF ️ and our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Koba 🐕(if you've never been to the Bay Area, come! The nature out here is breathtaking )
.
I’m deeply passionate about neurology 🤓, nutrition and how the two together can work wonders for our lives. I firmly believe that we all have the power to take control of our brain health, so we can live an extraordinary life 🏾
.
@DrNatashaF and I founded KOBA family wellness @hello.koba – a Functional Medicine practice in Northern California where we help people with brain and autoimmune conditions get well and stay well
.
But before I was a doctor, I struggled with many vague health issues myself: depression, lack of motivation, low energy, acne, brain fog and was constantly getting sick. The breaking point for me was when I got in a horrible car accident that nearly cost me my life.
.
Although I survived, I was left in chronic pain and unable to do all the things that I loved. I tried everything—conventional medicine, physical therapy, pain killers but nothing worked. It wasn't until I discovered holistic medicine that I began to address the root cause of all my symptoms and began to heal. And one of the darkest times in my life turned out to be a blessing in disguise
.
3 FUN THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT ME:
.
1️⃣ I skateboarded for many years prior to becoming a doctor 🏻‍⚕️(and still do when I have the time!)
2️⃣ I'm a very adventurous eater and love raw oysters and all things seafood 🦀🦐
3️⃣ My number one #healthyvice is liquid fermented resveratrol
.
I’m thrilled you’ve joined me here! Always happy to connect with passionate, positive and curious individuals looking to take charge of their own health.
.
I’d love to get to know all of you– tell me 3 FUN THINGS about yourself in the comments!
