    It’s sweet and somewhat tropical tasting, traces of pineapple orange maybe even papaya – but the flesh is like fish textured basically! Amazing. We have all kinds of deliciousness here in Colombia !

    @penelopess mmmm I like dates chopped and sautéed with onions and turmeric (Persian saffron rice topping!) Plantains confuse me! Sometimes they’re great and other times they’re chalky! Are there different varieties or were the chalky ones just not ripe enough???

    The chalky ones have more nonresistant starch than the sweeter ones – feed those gut bugs!!!!
