PANDANUS
When I was in Thailand, I became obsessed with all things pandan. Teas, sticky rice, chicken wraps, desserts, breakfast pastries. Pandan is an tropical leaf used in Thai cooking for its incredible flavor and color. The flavor is hard to compare to anything. But I LOVE it. This is the last of my dried pandan from my last trip to Thailand. I chopped fresh lemongrass and fresh ginger and added Berkey filter water to a pot. Simmered for a few hours and made my favorite Thai herbal tea.
