Ahhhh! What a whirlwind week! First the massive Healing Hashimoto's Summit and now I'm doing an insta-takeover of @autoimmunepaleo today through Friday. I'm super excited and nervous and would love to see some familiar faces over there in the comments!!! Please join me while I post away to their 41k audience!

Hi friends! I’m @DrNatashaF or Natasha. I’m so happy to be hosting AIP this week. I’m a Doctor, Designer, Speaker and Artist. And I’m super passionate about healing autoimmunity through touch, food and storytelling. This passion of mine comes from my own healing journey with autoimmunity. Through my personal life and career, I founded an online community to Redefine Autoimmunity called the @KANARIproject, I co-founded a private practice in NorCal focused on autoimmunity @hello.KOBA and I serve on the Advisory Board of @hashimotosawareness. But before I was a doctor, I was a young woman struggling with a lot of “unexplainable” health issues: chronic fatigue, vague pain, low energy, hormonal imbalance, acne, anxiety and depression. I didn’t find out until YEARS later that I was experiencing the all-too-common story of undetected and mismanaged autoimmunity. I fell into the dark and confusing waters of navigating my symptoms through conventional medicine. It wasn’t until I discovered holistic medicine that I began to address the root cause and improve. My life and health was transformed by a number of different things, many of which I will be posting about this week. They include: chiropractic care, bodywork, diet and food, functional medicine, functional neurology, homeopathy, community and self-love. I’m so honored to be a part of this community of loving and caring individuals. Autoimmunity has been the biggest blessing in disguise. And I’m so excited to share my story and connect with all of you. Please feel free to contribute to the discussion in the comments (I’m an INFP and a Pisces, so I love one-to-one conversations.) xoxox DNF [ #natashaaip]
