5 years ago today: My first post-headshave haircut.
I shaved my head at a key transition period in my life. It gave me a sense of freedom and made it really fun and easy to accept changes. I no longer felt weighed down by all the standards I had grown into. In all honesty, I thought the shaved head would actually scare away people - a welcome response for a recovering introvert. A year later, a unruly mullet grew out and my friend @mollie_raccoon_moon gave me my first new haircut, that I'm missing dearly today. What sort of things have you done to get through difficult shifts in your life? xoxo DNF

I’ve dyed my hair countless times (usually pink)! And cut it, but not that short- you’re brave!
