5 years ago today: My first post-headshave haircut.
I shaved my head at a key transition period in my life. It gave me a sense of freedom and made it really fun and easy to accept changes. I no longer felt weighed down by all the standards I had grown into. In all honesty, I thought the shaved head would actually scare away people – a welcome response for a recovering introvert. A year later, a unruly mullet grew out and my friend @mollie_raccoon_moon gave me my first new haircut, that I’m missing dearly today. What sort of things have you done to get through difficult shifts in your life? xoxo DNF
