INFRARED SAUNA
I was on the verge of catching a cold so yesterday I went all in to change course.
•Loaded up on homeopathic remedies
•Ate mostly veggies and soup
•Drank a ton of filtered/coconut water
•Sweat it out in the sauna for 4 hours
•Got a massage to drain lymphatics
•Got a chiropractic adjustment to boost my immune system
.
Today the almost-cold is almost-gone and I’m repeating my routine, swapping extra sleep for sauna time.
.
Infrared saunas have soooo many benefits. Some of my favorites include: deep deep cellular detox, reduced inflammation, relieved muscle tension and joint pain, smooth skin and increased collagen production, calming and energizing, and most of all the cozy, warm feeling of a full body hug.
.
As a highly Vata Hashimoto’s person, I tend to run cold and rarely sweat, even when exercising or in hot climates. Sweating is super important for detox and self-regulation processes and saunas help immensely.
.
Know your body and you can change its course.

️What’re your tried and true cold-evading tricks????
