His ability to create life-changing wellness programs comes from both his unique and extensive training in Neurology, Nutrition, Functional Medicine, Chiropractic and Acupuncture, as well as his own personal experiences overcoming injury and illness through Holistic Living and Natural Medicine. He is the founder of the Modern Brain, one of his passion projects dedicated to empowering it’s readers to take control of their own health with quick and juicy tips to keep their minds healthy, vibrant and strong.
After running a successful practice in Chicago for the past decade, he recently moved to California to pursue his dream of creating a magical healing space with his partner Dr. Natasha Fallahi. And thus was born KOBA. In addition to seeing clients, he is an Adjunct Professor of Neurology at Life Chiropractic College West. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology for the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies. In 2013, Dr. Chiu received the Educator of the Year Award from the International Association for Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation. He can often be found traveling the world eating oysters, learning about new cultures and ways of healing, and teaching other doctors how to use Neurology, Nutrition and Functional Medicine to transform people’s lives. He is currently accepting applications for new patients.

Chiropractic, nutrition, homeopathy and functional neurology changed Dr. Fallahi’s Life. Her path to KOBA has spanned a decade of healing, learning and teaching around the world. She is passionate about helping adults and children achieve their highest potential in health and wellness – physical, metabolic, emotional and energetic. She specializes in Holistic Care and BioEnergetic Medicine for Autoimmunity. She loves sharing holistic health with intuitive individuals, couples and growing families (and dogs and horses, too!) Past lives include graphic designer, marketing guru, creative director, indie filmmaker, entrepreneur, gypsy.
Like many of the people she provides care for, Dr. Fallahi also struggled for many years with “unexplainable” health issues: chronic fatigue, vague pain, low energy, hormonal imbalance, acne, anxiety and depression. Unbeknownst to her, she was experiencing the all-to-common story of mismanaged autoimmunity. She fell into the dark and confusing waters of navigating her symptoms through modern healthcare. Thankfully and serendipitously, she found herself in the hands of an integrative chiropractor. The focus shifted from the symptoms to the root cause. From there, her healing journey began and she reclaimed her life through chiropractic healing practices, functional medicine and functional neurology. Still to this day, she receives regular chiropractic care and adjunctive therapies. Everyday, she feels more alive and connected than the day before.
