Love this KOBAstory from @just_me_healing! ・・・ Just wanted to take a minute to introduce 2 of my favorite people in the world- my healthcare team!! * * I had been treating my Hashimoto's, primarily through AIP and a few supplements, mostly by myself. But last summer when I started getting fibromyalgia pretty bad and my digestive improvement reached a plateau, I knew I needed the help of a professional (Google only can take you so far!) I happened on @hello.koba by accident... Or maybe there are no accidents. * * I have been seeing @DrNatashaF since early fall 2015, primarily for chiropractic adjustments but also for homeopathy and supplements. She is one of the most genuine and passionate people you will ever meet. I instantly felt comfortable trusting her with my care (not something that happens often). Having healed tremendously from her own Hashimoto's, she has constantly inspired me and supported me all along the way. She understands the dietary, physical and emotional factors that go into healing, and she is so patient and understanding (and she calls me out when I'm being stubborn, which I love!) Chiropractic adjustments have helped me profoundly. * * I have been seeing @DrTitusChiu, her partner at @hello.koba and a neurology/autoimmunity genius, since early January. He's not only extremely smart and intuitive, but is so skilled at patient communication. Unlike so many doctors I've seen, he is empathetic and aware of how anything he says can impact a patient. He is truly a Healer and is so awesome to work with. * * I wish all of you could work with them, and I highly recommend it if you can, but I do recommend looking for a practitioner you trust. There's a lot you can do on your own, but having a good doctor can really make a difference. Find one that will listen to you and help you become your own caretaker. It's really helped me a lot; not only am I physically/mentally/emotionally better, but the simple fact that I have two people as my allies in health has really reduced my stress. * * Wishing you all the best in healing ️️️ #aip #paleo #autoimmunedisease #autoimmuneprotocol #hashimotos #fibromyalgia #leakygut #sibo #functionalmedicine #chiropractic
